The romance saga earned an estimated Rs 8.50 crore on Sunday, October 30. The collections were a shade lower on Day 3 as compared to its previous days when it earned Rs. 13 crore on Friday and Rs. 12.50 crore on Saturday. One can assume that the numbers saw a dip since Sunday was Diwali and the film's potential audience must have been busy with the festivities. After the end of the first weekend, the film's total collection stands at around Rs 34 crore. On the brighter side, the movie has received glowing reviews from the critics and the word-of-mouth too is positive. Let's see whether the film rakes in money in the next few days to come.

Well, the producer and the director of the film had arranged for a press meet with the star cast, including Sunny Deol, Preity and Ameesha Patel. Reports suggest that strangely, none of the actors were informed in advance about the press interactions and hence, when Preity was told about the press meet at the nth minute, she was furious and left the spot. It was only after much pleading and cajoling by the producer and the director that she finally agreed to interact with the media. A source associated with the show informs, "Arjun will play Aryan, a Casanova who has women swooning over him. He enters the show as Paridhi's (Mona Singh) saviour. He helps her to catch Manjulika (Ssara Khan) and more later. Her husband Rajbir (Vivek Dahiya) gets jealous of Aryan and suspects him of being romantically involved with her. But the reality is that they are just friends. Unfortunately, jinns are not allowed to have relationships with humans."

She says, "It was supposed to be a triangle where I was the other woman in the lead actor's life. But my character was not developed well and there was no scope for improvement either. There was no challenge while performing any scene. And then suddenly a decision was taken to turn the character negative. So, I have decided to quit the show."

A source from the production house confirmed that Shiny's track will end soon and the focus will be back on Shaan and Rajni, whose chemistry the masses seem to like better. Ask Karan about this and he replies, "Rajni and Shaan have always shared a great chemistry, so that was not the only reason for Shiny's track to end. Shiny is a good actress but there was not much drama in this track and maybe that's why the ratings dipped."

But after I started working again, I could afford it. I have really worked hard to lose 25 kg. In fact, I weigh less than I did before my marriage.

According to an industry insider, "Mahesh Bhatt is all set to start his television innings with a brand new fiction show. The show is partially based on his famous 1999 directorial Zakhm, which starred actor Ajay Devgn and Bhatt's daughter Pooja in the lead roles. The show will be aired on Star Plus and will replace the channel's most popular ongoing show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' in September this year."
