‘Madaari’ star Irrfan Khan has reportedly been on the receiving end after he spoke his mind on religious fundamentalists, self-appointed custodians and interpreters of the Holy Scriptures on a talk show. The actor received much flak on the show for his comments, with some religious heads suggesting that he stick to acting and not intervene in religious matters. During the television debate, Irrfan boldly said that he didn’t need ‘mediators’ to establish a connection between him and God. Now, latest reports suggest that he is being flooded with threats and intimidation. On the other hand, the actor is also being applauded for his comments, especially at a time when terror groups are wreaking havoc around the world.
