Mihika Verma of 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' fame gets married: Mihika Verma, who recently quit 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein', got married on April 29 in a private ceremony, according to reports. Mihika was rumoured to be dating Mayank Gandhi, but they parted ways due to problems in their relationship. Mayank is now engaged to actress Hunar Hale, and Mihika has also moved on. Her sister Rucchiraa posted this picture of Mihika looking absolutely gorgeous in a red lehenga. As per sources, Mihika might quit working to enjoy her married life with her husband, who is not from the industry.

Jennifer Winget to play a sociopath in comeback show

Jennifer Winget will soon be making a comeback on TV with a thriller titled Behad. Sources tell us that the show will go on air after the IPL, and in all probability, will be aired in the 10pm slot. Former Bigg Boss contestant Kushal Tandon is also a part of the show. Jennifer will be seen playing a role with grey shades.
"I wanted to do something different after doing daily soaps, and luckily, I got this opportunity. This is the first time I will be playing a role with grey shades. It is a thriller. My character can be called a sociopath. She is also an insomniac," she says.
Jennifer was last seen in Saraswatichandra and this is after a gap of two years that the actress will be seen in a TV show. "I have never been so nervous and excited at the same time. I have been watching a lot of international films and TV shows to get my character right. It's not like those negative characters that you see in daily soaps. There is a reason for what she does. She is not a bad person, but something had happened in her childhood because of which she doesn't want to lose the people who matter to her. People like her don't know boundaries or limits," Jennifer adds.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' director Kabir Khan was heckled at Karachi airport by a mob of protestors who even waved shoes at him. However, the good-natured director played down the issue and asked the Indian media to ignore the incident. In an interview to Bollywoodlife.com, he reiterated that the incident should be overlooked as the common man of both the countries did not believe or want any violence. He said that the protestors were livid at him for showing Pakistan in a bad light in his film 'Phantom' and did not want to listen to any reason. On being asked if he would visit the neighbouring country again, the 'Ek Tha Tiger' director replied that his wife, Mini Mathur, has made it clear that he will not go there again!

It was a surprising moment for actress Divyanka Tripathi, who won six trophies at the Star Parivaar Awards 2016 for her role of Ishita Bhalla in popular daily soap "Ye Hai Mohabbatein". She said actors are "incomplete" without support from their fans.
"I was surprised to see most of the awards coming to our show ('Ye Hai Mohabbatein'). Every category in which we were nominated has won the title," Divyanka, who won awards for categories like Favourite Bahu, Favourite Maa and Favourite Patni among others, said after the show. I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful team. Also, I want to thank my fans because we as actors are incomplete without them. Their love and blessings make us complete," she said.

e has won hearts with her acting stint in Bollywood and now actress Sunny Leone has taken up a new role in her career, by turning a writer. Leone has written a book titled 'Sweet Dreams', which includes 12 short stories. The 'Mastizaade' actress says writing was not on her mind but she did have certain ideas, which went unrecorded.

"Writing wasn't on my mind. I thought about different stories and ideas throughout the years but nothing really that I wrote down. This is the first time I have written something like this. When I was younger I had a diary, my mother read it, and that was the end of the diary," Leone told PTI in an exclusive interview. Set in an Indian milieu, her fictional stories of power and play treat women as sexual equals to men while also talking about the underlying romance.
The 34-year-old actress says when the publishing house, Juggernaut books, came to her with the idea of writing 12 short erotic stories, she took it up as a challenge and finished them in a span of three months. "Juggernaut came to me and proposed the idea of 12 short stories in this genre. It was a personal challenge for me to able to do it. I took about three months to write those. The story, '7 E', was the most difficult because that was the first one," she said.

Composed by Mithoon (inset) and penned by Manoj Muntashir, the romantic track is produced by Bhushan Kumar. "The idea was pitched by Bhushan four months ago. After toying with a few concepts we zeroed in on a love ballad. Alia has an unconventional voice which will add to the song's charm. She is serious about her music and a confident singer," informs Mithoon. He points out that Alia, who is inspired by her father, Mahesh Bhatt's work, wanted to pay a tribute. "So we may include a few musical elements from 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin' and 'Sadak'. My father, Naresh Sharma, had arranged the music for them," the 31-year-old composer adds. Will he sing with her? "We are yet to take a call on that but I am playing the piano," says Mithoon. Alia has earlier lent her voice to 'Sooha Saha' from Imtiaz Ali's Highway and the unplugged version of 'Samjhawan' from 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'. She will start her prep soon. "I like to give my singers enough time to rehearse, we will do at least three four dummy recording sessions before the final one," says Mithoon. The team is yet to start work on the video. They should shoot it sometime next month.

A Recent post on daily soap 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' fame actress Divyanka Tripathi's Twitter handle says that the actress is going to tie knot this July.
The 31-year-old actress shared a link of an article on her Twitter which confirms this news.

While interacting with PTI on the issue of Maharashtra drought that led to the shifting of 13 matches, Zinta confessed that such issues do affect the brand and the business and tagged IPL as a "whipping boy." She said, "Yes, it does affect the brand and it is unfair to the owners. It affects our business as every year there is some controversy or some rumours that come up. I believe at one level IPL has become a whipping boy for many."

'So You Think You Can Dance-Ab India Ki Baari' launched

'So You Think You Can Dance-अब इन्दिअ कि बरि लौञ्चेद

Dance reality TV show "So You Think You Can Dance-Ab India Ki Baari" which will be judged by a panel of three judges consisting of actress Madhuri Dixit, choreographers Terence Lewis and Bosco Martis was launched here on Tuesday night.
Giving an example of their hosting skills, TV actors Mouni Roy and Rithvik Dhanjani took the stage to kick start the launch event, pulling each other's legs, giving way to the dancers who later performed a power packed dance sequence.

Mahhi Vij's new journey as Nimboli

Mahhi Vij, who was recently seen on 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', is all set to return to fiction after a gap of four years with 'Balika Vadhu'. She will join the show to play the grown-up Nimboli post the time leap. Avinash Sachdeva will also be a part of the show after the leap and the original cast will be wiped out. The new chapter will begin from April 25. Mahhi, whose last fiction outing was 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan', confirms, “I was getting a lot of offers, but I auditioned for them half-heartedly, as I feared the show wouldn’t last more than six months. But ever since I gave a look test for 'Balika Vadhu' , I have been praying every single day for the deal to materialise.” Ask her what she feels about people believing that 'Balika Vadhu' has run its course and she replies, “For me, it’s a fresh show with a fresh cast and approach. I am embarking on a new journey and have taken up a new show. I hope it will be a long inning.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan: I wouldn't have done item songs Saif's permission

Now, this coming from the Begum of Bollywood and the queen of item numbers is shocking and interesting at the same time. Off late, we have seen Kareena Kapoor Khan making cameos (read doing item numbers) in big films like 'Dabangg 2', 'Brothers' and 'Gabbar Is Back' among others. Interestingly, her song-and-dance cameos have also been received well by the audience and her fans aren't complaining either. However, Bebo says that the biggest credit goes to her husband, Saif Ali Khan, who has never stopped her from doing what she loves and enjoys doing. In her recent statement, Kareena said, "I have no qualms in doing item songs. For this, I would like to give all credit to my husband Saif Ali Khan. If Saif wouldn't have given the permission then it wasn't possible for me to do anything." Isn't this 'Waaow' guys?

Reportedly, the couple also had an ugly fight at another party over Alia's proximity to her ex, Ali Dadarkar. The report claims that Sidharth wasn't too happy with Ali's behaviour and made his displeasure obvious. However, the couple had, at that time, managed to leave the party together. They were recently spotted coming out of Karan Johar's house around the same time, but chose to make an exit in different cars.

Amy recently took to Twitter to share a picture with Rajinikanth writing, "I don't think I've ever looked so happy on a photograph." She also added that she was honoured to be sharing screen space with the superstar. The film, directed by Shankar, also has Akshay Kumar playing the antagonist and is a sequel to 2010 film 'Enthiran.'

Ashish says, "I am from Jaipur, where Ramlila is common. Despite being a thin, lanky fellow, I was always offered the role of Hanuman. It was a dream of mine to play Ram, but somehow I was chosen to play Hanuman. Since then, I have been a Hanuman bhakt for many years now." Talking about his faith and belief, he adds, "Not just me, in fact my entire family is a devout follower of Lord Hanuman. It's an annual affair where we all celebrate Hanuman Jayanti with a big puja at home and all the relatives join us in the puja."
