There have been rumours doing the rounds that Arjun Kapoor and Athiya Shetty are the new lovebirds in B-town and now, we hear that the young heartthrobs, who have denied seeing each other, were spotted at a nightspot in Mumbai getting too cosy for everybody else's comfort. As per a report in Filmfare, both Arjun and Athiya were allegedly spotted kissing each other at a famous night out in Mumbai. People close to both the actors swear that they are smitten with each other and enjoy each other's company. The two are often spotted together, but having learnt the art of denial, Arjun, in his statement to Filmfare, said that he has known Athiya for many years as she is his sister Anshula's friend, but there is nothing more than just friendship between them. "People forget that you can have friends in the industry and that it is a normal thing. I have known her for many years. I don't understand why there is a sudden speculation. The media saw us together at a party, so it all started from there." Athiya too has refused to acknowledge her relationship with Arjun saying, "I don't take link-up rumours seriously as long as I, my family and close ones know the truth. I don't give any thought to it. We don't give any importance to it. Such reports don't make our dinner table conversations."
