Kubra Sait goes behind the mic on screen

Known to be one of the most sought-after emcees, Kubra Sait has hosted popular television shows and prestigious award functions. A finance graduate, she forayed into acting with the Salman Khan-starrer 'Ready' and followed it up with 'Jodi Breakers'. She will now be seen in 'Sultan', which releases today.

Talking about how she bagged the film, Kubra says, "I got a call from the casting director and I auditioned for a small role in the film. Later, I learnt that they were offering me a bigger and a better role and I was totally elated." The actress plays a commentator in the film. "There is nothing better than playing something on screen which you love doing. Because I already have several years of experience in this field, my director allowed me to improvise. He has retained many of those lines," she adds.
