Ketki Dave makes way for 'Kyunki' sister-in-law Apara Mehta in a TV show

Guess who's stepping into A-ra-ra-ra actress Ketki Dave's shoes to play grandma-in-law in TV show 'Mahisagar'? It's none other than Apara Mehta, who played her elder sister-in-law in 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. So, what made Ketki leave the show that she has been part of since five months? "The main intention behind joining the show was that it's a comedy as I like to entertain people," she says, adding, "But the concept changed recently and I realised that there as not much left to explore. As an actor, I should be able to justify the money producers are paying me and also the time I am investing in the show. The producers are my friends and there is no bad blood between us. Everything has been amicable. I waited until they found my replacement."
