Karan Mehra is known for playing one of the most loved characters on the small screen in his TV show, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. However, there is some sad news for the fans as the actor has finally decided to part ways with his long running show. Yes, you read it right. The actor shot for his last day and announced this on the set today
Rumours about Karan Mehra aka Naitik's exit from 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' have been in the news for some time now but he always denied it. Earlier, we had reported that the actor will bid adieu to the show once the show takes the generation leap and unfortunitly the news has come true. The reason behind Karan's exit is cited to be health issue and his doctor has apparently advised him rest. Karan's character Naitik will be shown getting kidnapped by his brother Naman and this will mark his ouster from the show.
It will be interesting to see if the makers will now introduce a new hero opposite Akshara (Hina Khan) or will bring in another twist.
